Wow, i need to update!  We are moving to Indy!  Well actually we already have...all our stuff and Mya and I came this week and Joe will be following soon!  It's exciting and a little sad at the same time! Buckley was so good to us and for us, and as much as I resisted, I came to love the people and the church there......can't say the same for the weather, but oh well:)   We are unpacking tho and trying to get things together for when Joe comes.  It is super nice to be back close to all the fam and friends!  That's our news.....will update more later! Busy, busy, busy.....that best describes Mya these days!!  She is pretty much full on walking!  She still has no teeth, but I swear they are so close:)  She can tell you lots of animal noises- monkey is her favorite, that and the elephant:)  She sure does have a sweet little  voice, and a quite comical personality!  It's so fun to watch her and listen to her as she plays!  Our schedule is a little screwed up with the travel, but we're dealing with it!  Kinda!  Sleep is really her only issue:(  She is a great eater and there isn't anything she has refused yet!  She is snuggly and cuddly and is a good baby for 95% of the time- (when it isn't bedtime)  Love her so much and am having a blast!  More to come.......

My precious baby is one year old today! So hard to believe it's been a year! It has been such a joy and a blessing to be her mama, and I look forward to the next year! She is such a happy baby and still has no teeth! Ha:)It's been beautiful the last week and we have started taking walks daily and she loves it so much! Mom is coming today for the "party" and Rhett is here and we will be having some friends over tonite to celebrate! She also slept all night in her crib last nite!!!! Yay! Just can't wait to see what the next year brings! Peace.....

Well, my baby is 10 mos. old today! I can't believe it, it goes so fast! She's learned how to clap and wave bye bye and she's so stinkin' cute when she does it, ooh can't stand it! We are snowed in and trying to entertain ourselves today! We'll figure somethin out! Get to go home next week and see everyone and I'm so excited! Not much else to report, just same ol same ol! Wow time flies!! My baby is 9 mos. old and had her first Christmas!! Hard to believe....we had a great time with family and friends in Indy and made it back to Michigan just in time for the snow storm!! Mya is getting so big, crawling all over the place and pulling herself up on everything she can! She's getting brave and sometimes stands by herself for a few seconds, dang girl slow down!!! Love her so much and enjoying every bit of it!!! Hope holidays were great for all!!

Had a great time with family that came up for Mya's dedication and everything went great! Now gettin ready to head home soon for Thanksgiving! Mya is such a joy and is growing.....no teeth yet and hasn't taken off yet, but is doing new things each day it seems! I've become obsessed with hair blogs and taking care of her hair. I want her to embrace her curls and learn how to take care of her hair and love the way God made her! I'm learning a lot and am glad for other moms out there who are sharing their journey of "natural" hair care for themselves and their daughters, it really helps people like me who would've had no clue where to begin! It's gonna be fun doing all kinds of styles, etc with her hair, but for now she is rockin' the fro fo sho!!! Ha, well Happy Thanksgiving and happy eating!
